Global business leader Jean Tomlin has forged a career working for many top British organisations. She is widely known for being the founder and CEO of Chanzo, working as the Group HR Director for Marks and Spencer’s, Director of HR for the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Non-executive Director of Sainsbury’s. She is famed for delivering the largest peace-time workforce in the UK, orchestrated during her time as the HR Director of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this role she managed the Games Maker volunteer programme, managing 70,000 volunteers, 100,000 contractors and 8000 paid members of staff.

Jean attended Loughborough University where she obtained a degree in economic history and sociology. After graduating, Jean joined Ford Motor Company and began training in Human Resources, finding a passion for the field and beginning to hone her skills in transformation programmes. After working with Ford for 9 years, Jean moved on to work as the Sales and Operations Director of Prudential Assurance. Jean has also been a founding member and HR Director of Egg Plc and an advisor to the BBC.

Currently, Jean has been working with Sainsbury’s as their Non-executive Board Director, championing the Corporate Responsibility Committee and a prominent member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees. She is also currently a Non-executive Director of Hakluyt & Company Limited, an Independent Director of Capri Holdings and the CEO of her own company Chanzo. Chanzo is a consulting company providing recruitment service for sports and event sectors.

Having worked for many credible companies, Jean is now called open to deliver her expertise at a range of online events.
