Tej Lalvani

One of the UK’s most successful businessmen, Tej Lalvani has become recognisable across the nation for his role on Dragons’ Den. Also, the CEO of the nutraceutical business Vitabiotics, Tej has led the brand to unprecedented success driving its digital growth. As a virtual speaker, he regularly shares his expert insights on the world of business during his speeches, showing people what can be achieved if you put your mind to it.

During his tenure as CEO Tej has seen Vitabiotics produce a turnover in excess of £300 million each year as well as secure a whole host of awards. This includes winning the illustrious Queen’s Award for Innovation and being recognised as Boots’ Supplier of the Year. Tej has also been the recipient of a number of individual awards such as Young Entrepreneur of the Year twice and listed as one of the most influential Asian people in Britain. Despite being the son of Vitabiotics founder Kartar Lalvani, Tej had to work for his position as CEO. As a young man, he worked in the company’s warehouse moving stock on a forklift before his dad allowed him a chance in a leadership position. This experience gave him a good grounding and since taking the reigns from his father the company has gone from strength to strength.
