Sam Quek

Sam Quek is a former hockey player who was part of Great Britain’s historic Olympic winning team in 2016. She has gone on to become a popular television personality, starring on some of the country’s biggest shows. During her virtual speaking events, she often discusses her sporting success alongside her new career as a television presenter. Sam’s bubbly and charismatic personality makes her a big hit with audiences.

After her Olympic success, Sam was thrust into stardom after appearing as a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Audiences gained access to Sam’s have-a-go’ attitude and sparkling sense of humour as she endured all the jungle had to throw at her. Since returning from Australia she has gone on to appear on the likes of Celebrity MasterChef, Pointless Celebrities, and A Question of Sport.

A huge sports fan from an early age, Sam had to choose between hockey and football in her youth. Opting for hockey she went on to represent Great Britain at the Commonwealth Games and European Championships before winning a gold medal at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. This success led her and her teammates to be honoured with an MBE in 2017. Now, Sam can also be found working as a sport’s presenter for the BBC, Channel 4, BT Sport and more. A keen fan of Liverpool FC as well as the NFL team the Kansas City Chiefs she can regularly be found airing her views on both teams on social media as well as her newspaper column in The Daily Mirror.
