Richard Osman

One of the UK’s leading TV presenters, Richard Osman is also a comedian, author and producer who has become best known for his role on Pointless. Pointless’ creator and co-host, this role led to him becoming a familiar face on British TV fronting other programmes such as Child Genius, Richard Osman’s House of Games and Channel 4’s Alternative Election Night. Richard’s likeable, funny and witty personality has also perfectly transitioned to virtual speaking. Since 2009 Richard has starred on Pointless, the quiz show he created, alongside Alexander Armstrong. Quickly becoming one of the most popular daytime TV shows around it catapulted Richard into the public eye where he’s remained ever since. His dry, quick wit has also seen him become a favourite of the panel show with the likes of Would I Lie to You, Have I Got News For You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown quick to book him. He also starred as a contestant on Taskmaster blowing audiences away with his innovative approach to the show’s wacky tasks.

Prior to becoming a famous television personality Richard’s home was firmly behind the camera. In fact, the star’s had a hand in a whole host of our favourite programmes. He acted as the producer for Deal or No Deal, 8 Out of 10 Cats (and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and 10 O’Clock Live. He also served as the script editor on Total Wipeout and creator of Prize Island.

Another string to Richard’s bow is his work as an author. In 2020 he released his first novel, the Thursday Murder Club which was an instant success and talks are underway for a TV adaptation. Aside from his media work Richard is adept at public speaking and is an incredibly popular virtual speaker. Audiences across the country are able to benefit from his hilarious speeches where he can share anything from life in the entertainment industry to the inner workings of some of the country’s biggest shows.
