Sir Ranulph Fiennes is best known as a fearless explorer, having achieved feats including trekking across the North Pole and completing the 7-7-7 marathon. Recognised as the oldest Briton to summit Mount Everest, Ranulph has honed skills of determination, discipline and teamwork, all of which he discusses at virtual events. Ranulph is also a former member of the SAS and he credits his military career for much of his expedition success thanks to resilience and leadership that was instilled in him there. Hear about such incredible achievements from the man himself when you book Ranulph as a virtual speaker.

From polar terrain to mountain peaks, Ranulph has explored more of the world than many could dream of in a lifetime. Driven by his desire to test the limits of human boundaries, Ranulph became the first person to reach both Poles, circumnavigate the world on the polar axis and discover the Lost City of Ubar as an expedition leader. Whilst many slow down as they grow older, Ranulph has defied the odds-on numerous occasions, including to become the oldest person to summit Mount Everest at 65 years of age. Suffering a heart attack and enduring a double heart bypass Ranulph was stopped in his tracks, but not for long, as only four months later he completed an epic 7 marathons, in 7 days, on 7 continents, a testament to his unwavering resilience.

For his extensive career, Ranulph has been recognised with international accolades, including being named by the Guinness Book of World Records as The World’s Greatest Living Explorer in 1984. The same year, Ranulph was the recipient of the Polar Medal awarded by HM the Queen for his pioneering expeditions to the unknown environment. The former Special Air Services recruit was also the recipient of the Sultan of Oman’s Bravery Award in 1970 for his military work in the region.

Captivating audiences with his epic tales, Ranulph is ideally suited to virtual events and translates his presentations to an online format with energy and entertainment.
