An economist, academic, and author, Noreena Hertz is best known for hosting the SiriusXM radio show MegaHertz: London Calling. One of the UK’s most knowledgeable economics experts, she currently works as ITV News’ economics editor. Over the years she has published a range of books on economics and business and has been dubbed by the British press as the ‘Nigella Lawson of economics’. Noreena also works as a prolific virtual speaker regularly giving her insight on a variety of issues to audiences everywhere.

One of Noreena’s career highlights was the role she played in the Middle East peace process. Despite just being 29 years old she worked with the governments and world leaders of Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Palestine giving them advice on economics. As a female business expert, she also flies the flag for women in business. At her virtual speaking events, she can inspire the next generation of female business leaders, showing them what is possible with hard work and determination.

Growing up Noreena always showed a flair for academia studying at Cambridge University as well as in the USA and Russia. Having held a number of high-profile roles she published her first economics book in 2001. The Silent Takeover, which she described as a way of ‘making economics sexy.’ As well as writing a number of best-selling books, Noreena has contributed columns for the likes of The Guardian, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and more.

Since 2017 Noreen has hosted the MegaHertz: London Calling for SiriusXM a programme that looks at global business and economic issues. She also works as the station’s Europe correspondent and as the head of economics for ITV news.

In her capacity as a keynote speaker, Noreena has delivered talks for the likes of TED, Google and at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Working as a virtual speaker means she is able to use her platform to share her expert knowledge and insight on a larger scale.
