Nina Schick is a pioneering authority on generative artificial intelligence, shaping how leaders, businesses and policymakers understand this fast-moving technology. As one of the world’s first experts in the field, she brings a rare mix of technical knowledge and geopolitical insight to her work. Known globally as the author of the world’s first book on generative AI, ‘DEEPFAKES: The Coming Infocalypse’, Nina explores how synthetic media, AI ethics and the industrialisation of intelligence will transform society. When hired as a virtual keynote speaker, she combines foresight with clarity, helping organisations navigate the opportunities and risks of the AI revolution.

Nina began her career in journalism and policy research, working for BBC Millbank, The Sunday Times, SPIEGEL International, and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism. These early experiences gave her a strong foundation in understanding global affairs and the power of information. She went on to become Communications Director at Open Europe, where she advised ministers, MPs and businesses during the UK’s Brexit negotiations. Later, she served as Director of Rasmussen Global and Advisor to the Alliance of Democracies Foundation, counselling world leaders including U.S. President Joe Biden and former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Her early work positioned her at the heart of decision-making on democracy, security and technology, long before AI dominated global debate.

In 2018, Nina founded Tamang Ventures, a strategic advisory focused on AI, geopolitics and emerging technology. Through this work, she helps leaders and organisations adopt AI responsibly and strategically. She also created the Era of Generative AI, a 100,000-member community dedicated to understanding and applying generative AI. Nina currently serves as Advisor to Synthesia, the world’s first AI-to-video platform valued at $2.1 billion, and Advisor to Truepic, a pioneer in media authentication recognised by TIME Magazine as one of the world’s best inventions. She also sits on the Qlik AI Council, alongside leading AI scientists, guiding companies worth over $12 billion on how to integrate artificial intelligence into their data strategies.

A sought-after virtual keynote speaker, Nina has addressed audiences at TEDx, WebSummit, CogX, and CES, as well as private events for Microsoft, Adobe, PwC, and Deloitte. Her virtual presentations explore how AI is reshaping business, creativity, national security and human identity. Nina’s signature prediction – that 90 percent of online content will be AI-generated by 2030 – has become a benchmark in discussions on digital trust and authenticity. Recognised as a LinkedIn Top Voice in AI and one of the Top 20 AI Speakers in the World, Nina continues to define how the world understands artificial intelligence and its profound implications for the future.
