One of the UK’s most popular comedians and impressionists, Jon Culshaw has become well known across the country for his uncanny knack of replicating some of the world’s biggest personalities.
Having worked in showbusiness for over 30 years Jon has become best known for his appearances on a number of comedy and sketch shows including Spitting Image, Dead Ringers and Newzoids. In 2009 he even fronted his own comedy programme, The Impressions Show, alongside fellow impressionist Debra Stephenson. Here he expertly recreated the look and sound of a whole host of stars including Ross Kemp, Simon Cowell and Sir Alan Sugar. His quick wit and remarkable talent have seen him become a big hit on the speaker circuit where he is able to delight audiences with his hilarious impersonations of celebrities, politicians and sporting greats.
Jon rose to fame in the late 90s when on national radio he was able to dupe Downing Street personnel with his impression of former Secretary of State William Hague, a move which even saw him put through to a telephone conversation with then Prime Minister Tony Blair. From here he went on to appear on a number of primetime TV shows including a starring role on Dead Ringers as it was converted from its home on the radio to a hugely successful television programme. Since then he has become a favourite of the panel show and to-date has imitated more than 300-star names with Boris Johnson, Donald Trump and Barack Obama recently added to his repertoire.
As a virtual speaker, Jon can bring his infectious sense of humour and entertainment experience to give any event an edge. When you book Jon Culshaw you also receive hundreds of other voices, all of which can act as the perfect presenter, entertainer or host for your event.
