Adventurer Bonita Norris rose to fame after she began breaking mountaineering records. Best known as the youngest woman to climb Mount Everest and the third British woman to climb Mount Lhotse, Bonita has continually pioneered female exploration. She has also made headlines for skiing to the Geographic North Pole and climbing Mount Manaslu, Ama Dablam and K2 in Pakistan. Continually displaying a drive to succeed, Bonita faced treacherous knife-edge ridges, ice walls and freezing conditions.
Outside of adventuring, Bonita dedicates time to helping charities. She is an avid supporter and patron of White Lodge Disability Centre and supports other charities such as Forces Children’s Trust and Global Angels Foundation. Some of her expeditions have been completed for charity, having previously reached the summit of Kilimanjaro to raise funds for charity in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Whilst she was completing her climb to the top of Mount Everest, Bonita was able to raise a fantastic £10,000 for the charity Global Angels Foundation. She has also been sought as a presenter too, having presented the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series coverage for Dave.
