Jordan Stephens is a British musician, actor and mental health campaigner who has used his platform to champion open conversations around identity, masculinity and emotional wellbeing. Rising to fame as one half of Rizzle Kicks, Jordan’s distinctive voice and energy helped the duo achieve multiple chart successes, while his later work has positioned him as a leading voice on mental health awareness in the UK. Through music, media and public speaking, he brings a rare mix of vulnerability, insight and humour to difficult conversations – making him a powerful presence at virtual events and corporate keynotes.
A graduate of the BRIT School, Jordan met Harley Alexander-Sule in 2008 and the two formed Rizzle Kicks. The pair went on to release a Platinum-certified debut album, Stereo Typical, which included hits like Down with the Trumpets and Mama Do the Hump. Their collaboration with Olly Murs on Heart Skips a Beat reached Number 1 in the UK Singles Chart, catapulting them to mainstream success. Alongside his music career, Jordan built an acting portfolio with roles in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Feel Good, Catastrophe and Glue, and hosted ITV2’s Don’t Hate the Playaz, cementing his status as a multi-talented performer.
In 2016, Jordan launched the #IAMWHOLE mental health campaign in partnership with YMCA and the NHS. The initiative reached over 120 million people worldwide and led to projects including the Music 4 Mental Health concert in 2018, which featured Ed Sheeran and Anne-Marie. In 2020, he introduced Digital Detox Day, encouraging people to take a break from social media—an event backed by LUSH and Zoe Sugg. Jordan’s 2017 TEDx Talk, Everyone Loves an Underdog, was a deeply personal exploration of grief, addiction and the emotional pressures of fame. In 2024, he released his memoir, Avoidance, Drugs, Heartbreak & Dogs, which expands on his lived experience and journey through mental illness.
When booked as a keynote speaker, Jordan blends storytelling with practical insight. He speaks honestly about topics such as toxic masculinity, ADHD, addiction, and the power of vulnerability. Whether addressing business leaders, students or health professionals, Jordan delivers impactful and thought-provoking sessions. His talks – both in-person and virtual – leave audiences energised, reflective and better equipped to support their own wellbeing and that of others.
