Dr Alex George is a leading virtual keynote speaker on mental health, wellbeing and resilience. Known for his warm, confident delivery and his ability to connect deeply with audiences, Alex brings a wealth of experience as a medical doctor and mental health campaigner to every event. Whether speaking to corporate teams, education professionals or young people, he offers powerful, practical insights that help individuals and organisations prioritise mental fitness. His virtual keynotes are engaging, evidence-based and full of real-world takeaways that stick.

Alex first trained as a doctor at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2015 before working in A&E at University Hospital Lewisham. After appearing on ITV’s Love Island in 2018, he used his platform to shift the public conversation around mental health, becoming a trusted and influential voice. In 2021, he was appointed the UK Government’s Youth Mental Health Ambassador by Prime Minister Boris Johnson. During his time in the role, Alex advised on national policy and campaigned to put mental health on the school curriculum alongside maths and English. He also became a familiar face on national TV, including as Health Editor for Good Morning Britain and a resident guest on Lorraine.

In the years since, Alex has built a strong career as a mental health advocate, presenter and author. He is the host of the popular podcast Stompcast and the creator of several TV programmes, including Dr Alex: Our Young Mental Health Crisis for BBC One and Naked Education for Channel 4. He has published four books, including the Sunday Times number-one bestseller Live Well Every Day, and the award-winning A Better Day, named Children’s Non-Fiction Book of the Year at the British Book Awards. In 2023 and 2024, he received honorary doctorates from the University of Law and the University of Exeter for his national impact in mental health.

Today, Alex delivers keynote talks on topics such as mental fitness, workplace wellbeing, youth mental health and productivity. His virtual sessions are dynamic and full of personality, covering science-backed techniques with honesty and relatability. Whether he’s sharing his personal story or unpacking the neuroscience of stress, Alex encourages audiences to think differently about their mental health—and gives them the tools to take action.
