One of the UK’s most popular television presenters, Kirstie Allsopp has worked on some of Channel 4’s biggest programmes for more than 20 years. When it comes to the world of property there aren’t many people in the industry who come close to Kirstie’s expertise. Since 2000 she has hosted Location, Location, Location alongside Phil Spencer helping families across the country find their dream home. In recent years she also developed a love for arts and craft hosting Kirstie: Keep Crafting and Carry On where she shows viewers how to create a number of great trinkets while in lockdown. Due to her unparalleled knowledge of the UK property market, Kirstie has become a favourite of the corporate event and as a virtual speaker can bring her insight as well as a sense of fun and humour to every occasion.
Instead of heading to university Kirstie went to teach English in India before returning to the UK and working at a number of lifestyle magazines. Then, in 1996 she opened her own property business, Kirmir, focused on London’s most high-end properties. This gave her a unique insight into the UK property market, something that stood her in good stead for the rest of her career.
As well as her work on Location, Location, Location Kirstie has also hosted the spin-off Relocation, Relocation which helped people relocate to different parts of the country. Not only does the show see Kirstie demonstrate her property knowledge but she also contributes to the interior design of projects. Recently she played a big part in the show’s 20th-anniversary celebrations and she brings her friendly, vibrant and laid back approach to all of her virtual speaking events.
