Street dance group Diversity are best known for winning the third series of renowned television programme Britain’s Got Talent. Taking to the stage back in 2009, Diversity performed against other acts such as Susan Boyle and Julian Smith to take first place. Since taking the win on Britain’s Got Talent Diversity have performed seven UK tours and performed for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show and the Royal Variety Show 100 Year Celebration. They have also had two DVDs made about them, with the titles Diversity: Dance. Fitness, Fusion and Diversity Digitized: The Live Tour 2012.

Before they found fame, many of Diversity’s members were part of Swift Moves. The group formed back in 2007, with members such as Ashley Banjo, Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely making up the original line up. The group was originally comprised of four sets of brothers and three individual members, all of whom where either at school, university or just started working. Honing their skills as a group they took the leap and applied for Britain’s Got Talent with aspirations of winning.

After rising to fame as part of the show, Diversity have found immense success independently. They have performed at events such as Wireless Festival and T4 on the Beach, as well as had a number of sell-out UK tours. They have been guest performers at holiday resort Butlins and also performed as the opening act of the Pride of Britain Awards. The group were also fortunate to feature in the film Street Dance. Their impeccable talent has been highly recognised, becoming the recipients of the Role Model of the Year award at the 2009 Spirit of London Awards and nominees for the Best Dance Act at the South Bank Show awards in 2010.
