In 2009, Ashley and his dance group, Diversity, auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent. Having just won the 2007 Street Dance Weekend competition, many predicted that Ashley and his team would make waves on the popular British show. His squad received three “yes” votes from the judges in the audition, soared through to the final and won the show, earning then a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show. Since then, Ashley has enjoyed a thriving career in entertainment, both onscreen, onstage and at virtual events.

In 2007, Ashley formed Swift Moves with his brother, Jordan Banjo, before expanding the group to over ten people and renaming themselves Diversity. His talent and charm led Ashley to be named a finalist in the South Bank Show awards, a testament to his impact on dance. In 2012, Diversity took their BGT fame one step further by embarking on their tour, titled Digitized – Trapped in the Game, followed by Limitless in 2013.
